The institution of constitutional control is a necessary mechanism of a democratic state. It ensures the supremacy and protection of the Constitution. The Constitutional Court, created thanks to the constitutional reforms in the Republic of Kazakhstan, has new status, powers, and duties. In order to increase the effectiveness of this body, it is necessary to improve several powers. Among them, it is necessary to have objective constitutional positions and interpretations for the protection of citizens' rights. In the same way, granting the right to political parties and public associations among the entities with the right to apply to the said body allows for the full disclosure of the main terms and meaning of constitutional control. In the course of the study, the need for mechanisms and powers that are important in the formation of these main directions of the Constitutional Court is shown. We believe that this constitutional reform will give a new impetus to constitutional control.
