Medical services in the era of digital transformation: legal aspects of telemedicine
Abstract
Abstract: Since the introduction of information and telecommunication technologies into the health sector, the demand for medical services has been increasing and the health system has been developing. The scientific work on the topic of legal aspects of ensuring the safety of personal data in the healthcare sector is devoted to the study of the legal basis of ensuring the safety of personal data, especially the medical data of patients, in the healthcare system. In this study, national and international legal norms on the protection of personal data are analyzed, and the features of their application in the healthcare system are revealed. In addition, current issues of confidentiality and information security in working with medical data are considered. Also, the obligations of health care organizations and specialists in this field, their responsibilities for keeping patients' personal data and protecting them from illegal use are highlighted. This article analyzes the interdependence of international legal experiences and national legislation on the security of personal data in the field of medicine, as well as modern methods of personal data protection in the context of the development of digital technologies. As a result of the research, proposals will be developed to ensure the safety of personal data in the healthcare system.
