Legal regulation of housing provision for military personnel
Abstract
The Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan guarantees the right of every citizen to housing, which also applies to military personnel, taking into account their special role in ensuring national security. This category of citizens requires a special approach to the realization of housing rights, linked to the specifics of their service, including frequent changes in the place of deployment, restrictions on the freedom to choose a place of residence, and special working conditions.
The article examines the legal regulation of housing provision for military personnel in Kazakhstan, including the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law "On Military Service and the Status of Military Personnel," as well as subordinate acts and government support programs. The main forms of realization of housing rights for military personnel are explored: the provision of official housing, participation in housing programs, and the mechanisms of the accumulation and mortgage system.
