Digital transformation of healthcare and the impact of modern technologies on patient safety in the Republic of Kazakhstan

The digitalization of the healthcare system in the Republic of Kazakhstan opens up new perspectives but at the same time requires a new look at legal and ethical norms, creating guarantees for patient safety and increasing the legal protection of the medical community. This article analyzes the key aspects of digitalization in the context of electronic document management, as well as the application of artificial intelligence technologies in medicine. Particular attention is paid to the need for clear legal regulation of digital medical technologies, the development and improvement of physicians' competencies in the field of digital medicine, and ensuring patients' access to understandable and complete medical information. The author proposes feedback mechanisms to increase the active participation of patients in improving digital medical services and highlights the importance of developing a national strategy for the digitalization of healthcare, aligned with international standards and taking into account national specifics, such as "Digital Kazakhstan."
