Abstract

The article reveals current issues of implementation and protection of the right to a favorable environment for human life and health. Kazakhstan, as a participant in international environmental conventions and treaties, has further integrated the norms of international law into national law, thereby providing a legal basis for a sustainable and safe environment.

For a more complete implementation of citizens' rights to information about the state of the environment, it is necessary to take further steps to bring national legislation into line with international standards, including in terms of ensuring the participation of citizens in public environmental control and strengthening the influence of the public on the processes of preserving natural resources.
