Legal regulation of real estate activity in the Republic of Kazakhstan
Abstract
Abstract. The article discusses the legal aspects of regulating real estate activities in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The existing regulatory framework regulating the real estate market is analyzed, including the Civil Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Law «On Housing Relations» and other acts affecting the work of realtors. Key problems related to the lack of specialized legislation, insufficient licensing and certification mechanisms for real estate activities, as well as legal risks for consumers were identified.
The authors study the international experience of regulating real estate activities and offer recommendations for improving the legislation of Kazakhstan. In particular, the author substantiates the need to adopt a separate law on real estate activities, providing for licensing, professional standards and consumer protection.
The results obtained can be useful for legislators, lawyers, realtors, and all real estate market participants interested in creating a transparent and secure legal environment.
