The legal mechanism of constitutional reform in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation: general and special
Abstract
. The article is devoted to a comparative legal study of the legal mechanisms of constitutional reform in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. In carrying out the analysis, the author resorts to searching for common and special things in the order of changing the constitutions of these states. Despite the close ties between Russia and Kazakhstan, there is a significant difference in the approach to ways to change the basic law. The introduction defines the legal mechanism of constitutional reform. Through comparative legal and analytical methods of scientific research, the author pointed out the peculiarities of various ways of changing constitutions in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The advantages and disadvantages of some legal mechanisms are noted, and a general conclusion is drawn, which indicates the main positive and negative characteristics of the Russian and Kazakh legal mechanism of constitutional reform.
